Camie Russell is a distinguished graduate of East Carolina University, having earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Health with a specialization in Community Health. Her academic journey was complemented by a remarkable internship at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), where she acquired notable certifications in Crisis Intervention Training, Adult Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Suicide Prevention Training. During her tenure at NAMI, Camie's dedication and enthusiasm for mental health deepened, propelling her to become an ardent advocate for mental health awareness and the enhancement of individual well-being. Camie also possesses a commendable track record of community service, having dedicated four years to volunteering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Eastern North Carolina. Her involvement with this esteemed organization allowed her to contribute to the fulfillment of the cherished wishes of children facing critical illnesses, further amplifying her commitment to enhancing the lives of others.
