Credentials And Training 

Susan Marshall PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with over 15 years of experience in the medical field and twelve years practicing as a limited licensed psychologist. She completed her Bachelors of Science in psychology from Central Michigan University. She went on to complete her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She started her career as a Limited Licensed Psychologist working with children and families and later became an Associate Director of an outpatient behavioral health clinic. 

In a desire to expand her knowledge and capabilities, she returned to school to complete her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has extensive experience as a primary care provider. Because of her background in primary care and desire to help others, she has returned to behavioral health. She believes in supporting her clients in finding a healthy balance in life and taking a holistic approach to working with clients. She is skilled in medical and psychosocial assessment, physical examinations, and medication management.

Areas Of Clinical Interest

Mrs. Marshall has a strong affiliation to the military and special operations community through her husband’s long military career. This led her to have a particular interest in working with post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She is an active member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her free time, she and her husband enjoy traveling, spending time with friends/family, hiking, yoga, and practicing meditation.
