Alyssa is an Administrative and Medical Assistant at MD Psychiatry’s Durham location. Prior to this, Alyssa worked for two years as a Medical Assistant and Spravato Coordinator at another mental health clinic in Wilmington, gaining valuable knowledge regarding daily operations, patient care, and clinical support. She also worked as a CNA for 4 years through COVID-19, strengthening her patient care skills.

Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University. She was an active member of Alpha Omicron Pi, helping raise money and awareness for the Arthritis Foundation. She plans on going back to school and pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and her dog, trying new coffee shops, gaming on her switch, reading, and crocheting
