Monae serves as the Administrator at MD Psychiatry & Emotional Health, where she contributes to the strategic and operational success of the practice. She partners closely with practice leadership to identify and address operational needs, ensuring consistency across all practice sites.

Monae’s academic background blends clinical expertise with business acumen. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA), building a foundation that bridges healthcare with organizational leadership. She is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies at Baylor University.

She brings extensive hands-on experience from critical care nursing in ICUs across California and North Carolina, population health case management at Duke University Health System, and her role as Director of Operations at an expanding community-based behavioral health organization. With a strong foundation in clinical practice, operations, and staff development, Monae is skilled in patient coordination, workflow optimization, and building accountable, high-performing teams.

She is passionate about advancing mental health care through strong operational leadership, staff development, and evidence-based practice improvements that support both clinicians and patients.
