Gillian is an Administrative Assistant at MD Psychiatry’s North Cary location, where she plays an integral role in supporting daily operations and creating a welcoming, organized experience for patients and staff. With over three years of experience in professional office environments, Gillian brings strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a calm, compassionate presence to her work—especially when handling sensitive information or assisting individuals during vulnerable moments.

Gillian earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Western Carolina University, graduating cum laude. Her academic background has provided her with a strong foundation in human behavior, social systems, and interpersonal communication, all of which inform her thoughtful and patient-centered approach in the workplace.

Driven by a long-standing passion for mental health and advocacy, Gillian plans to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is deeply interested in understanding the unique experiences of individuals and supporting access to quality mental health care. Outside of work, Gillian enjoys continuing to learn about psychology, connecting with others, and finding meaningful ways to support those around her.
