Emily Jordan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of clinical experience, primarily in high-acuity healthcare facilities within North Carolina. Emily's journey into healthcare has been shaped by a lifelong passion for helping others and an unrelenting intrigue about the human experience. Known for her perceptiveness, deep introspection, and open-mindedness, she approaches her work with a blend of empathy and insight that helps patients feel truly seen and heard.

She began her academic path at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing. Driven to make a more meaningful impact on people’s lives, she later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Barton College in Wilson, NC. Following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Emily felt called to address the growing mental health needs in her community. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health at Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky.

Emily combines her clinical training with a compassionate, holistic and integrative approach, grounded in evidence-based practices to support the individual needs of her clients. Approachable and non-judgmental, Emily is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where her patients feel empowered to heal and grow. Emily supports individuals at every stage of life, from the challenges of adolescence to the complexities of older adulthood. She treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar & other mood disorders, personality disorders, sleep-wake disorders (insomnia) and seniors with cognitive-related disorders.

When she’s not working, you can find Emily spending time with her two daughters, riding horses, or hiking with her two energetic goldendoodles.
