Carolina Gonzalez, MD, MPH, serves as the Site Manager for MD Psychiatry & Emotional Health’s Wilmington location, where she helps oversee daily operations and supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered mental health care.

Carolina earned both her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She later completed postgraduate training in psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, gaining experience across a wide range of psychiatric settings and patient populations.

Her background in medicine, psychiatry, public health, and clinical research gives her a unique perspective on both the clinical and operational sides of mental health care. She is passionate about improving access to psychiatric services and helping create a supportive environment for patients, providers, and staff.

Originally from Miami, Carolina relocated to Wilmington to join MD Psychiatry & Emotional Health and help establish and grow the practice’s newest location. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and looks forward to serving the Wilmington community.
