Heedaya is a second-year master's student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Old Dominion University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

She is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges and work toward improved emotional well-being. Upon completing her master's degree, she plans to pursue licensure and fulfill her goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.

At MD Psychiatry and Emotional Health, Heedaya serves as a Medical Assistant and Patient Coordinator. In this role, she helps patients access the services they need while ensuring a smooth, supportive experience as they connect with the providers best suited to their care. She is committed to making every patient feel welcomed, heard, and supported from their very first interaction with the practice.
