Wynter Henderson is the Administrative Assistant at our Waverly Place Cary location, where she brings compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to mental health advocacy. A recent graduate of Meredith College, Wynter holds a dual degree in Psychology and Social Work. Her academic background is complemented by hands-on experience in the mental health field, where she explored topics such as the impact of social media on psychological well-being through independent research.

While at Meredith, Wynter developed a strong foundation in both clinical and community-based mental health services. She is especially passionate about supporting underserved populations and addressing systemic barriers to care. Her work reflects a deep interest in creating safe, inclusive spaces for healing and growth.

Wynter plans to continue her education by pursuing a graduate degree in clinical counseling, with a focus on crisis and trauma intervention. Her long-term goal is to specialize in providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to women of color. With a clear sense of purpose and a heart for advocacy, Wynter brings a thoughtful and intentional presence to the team—along with the organizational skills and drive that make her a key part of our day-to-day operations.
