Akhilesh is a Medical Assistant at MD Psychiatry, where he supports patients through TMS therapy, Spravato treatment, prior authorizations, and various aspects of clinical care. He is currently a senior at Duke University, pursuing a B.S. in Neuroscience with minors in Biology and Chemistry.

 

With experience working with a wide range of patients—including children on the autism spectrum, students navigating mental health challenges, and seniors with dementia—Akhilesh is deeply committed to enhancing patient care through compassionate communication and a personalized approach. He plans to attend medical school and hopes to specialize in treating psychiatric and neurological conditions.

 

Outside of his academic and clinical interests, Akhilesh enjoys playing and watching basketball, playing the piano, and singing karaoke with friends.
