Sophia graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minors in Biological Sciences and Health, Medicine, and Human Values. During her undergraduate studies, she was an active member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, and Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Pre-Health Honor Society.

Following graduation, she took a gap year to gain hands-on clinical experience, working as a dermatology Medical Assistant before transitioning to her current role at MD Psychiatry. Passionate about patient care and mental health, she plans to further her education by attending a Physician Assistant program in North Carolina, where she aims to integrate her interests in both physical and mental health to provide compassionate, holistic care.
