Fatmata Fofanah is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Mountain State University and later obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Walden University.

Mrs. Fofanah brings extensive experience in psychiatric nursing, having worked in a variety of mental health settings across North Carolina. Her professional background includes serving as a charge nurse at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Women’s Prison, as well as a charge nurse and house supervisor at Triangle Behavioral Health and Strategic Behavioral Center, among other roles. Her comprehensive training provides a strong foundation for addressing a wide range of mental health care needs.

Fatmata is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and is committed to supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
